Knock You Naked Bars

Knock You Naked Bars

Discover a dessert that will become your new ultimate indulgence, guaranteed to impress even the most discerning sweet tooth.

  • Total Time: 49 minute
  • Yield: 12-16 bars 1x

Ingredients

Scale

  • 1 package (18.5 oz) German chocolate cake mix
  • 1/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9x13 inch baking pan by greasing it thoroughly or lining it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the German chocolate cake mix, evaporated milk, and melted butter. Mix until the dough comes together, creating a thick, rich batter.
  3. Carefully press half of the dough into the bottom of the prepared pan. This will create a solid, delicious base for your bars.
  4. Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 8 minutes. This initial baking helps create a sturdy foundation for the remaining layers.
  5. Remove the pan from the oven and immediately sprinkle the baked layer with chopped pecans and chocolate chips. The warm base will help the toppings adhere beautifully.
  6. Drizzle the caramel sauce evenly over the pecan and chocolate chip layer. Sprinkle the salt over the caramel to enhance the overall flavor profile.
  7. Take the remaining dough and drop it in small clumps over the caramel layer. Try to cover as much of the caramel as possible, creating a rustic, delicious top layer.
  8. Return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 18-20 minutes. Look for firm edges and a set top as indicators of doneness.
